2012 Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA Dream Home Lottery Rules and Regulations

1. There are a total of 271 prizes totaling $867,707. Prizes consist of One Grand Prize Dream Home ($767,200 estimated home value by direct comparison approach including HST). All prizes drawn by KPMG LLP 9:00 am, July 9, 2012 at 3001 Visao Court, Kamloops, BC (ticket sales cut-off 8 pm, July 3, 2012). All prize draws will be broadcast on the draw date on CFJC-TV 7 at 5 pm.

2. 10,000 tickets are available for sale. 6,400 single tickets at the cost of $100 each and 3,600 tickets sold as Value Packs of 5 tickets at $400 each. Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older. If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered on behalf of the minor to the minor’s parent, legal guardian or trustee.Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia. All tickets eligible for all prizes.

3. No refunds available. No cash value. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Grand prize winner accepts ownership as of time and date of draw and waives all rights to tax rebates on the home. In compliance with BC Gaming Laws all prizes are guaranteed.

4. Winners consent to the release of their names and addresses by the licencee. Winners’ names will be published in local newspapers no later than August 17, 2012.

5. All draws will be attended by a representative from the audit firm of KPMG LLP. All 271 prizes are drawn manually from a barrel. Each ticket is re-entered for every prize category. Draws are done in order of ascending value.

6. The following are not eligible to purchase tickets: Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA Board of Directors, Kamloops YMCA-YWCA full and part-time staff members, KPMG LLP, Advance Hospitality Consulting Services and all spouses or partners thereof.
